Fore! Bogeys, birdies and pars will be all over scorecards on day three of the 2017 PGA Masters Golf tournament at gorgeous Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. Watch Sergio Garcia play every hole online here beginning at 9am EST on Apr. 8th.
The PGA Masters is the most beautiful tournament of all the majors and is held every year at the Augusta National Golf Club. Day three of the tournament, on Saturday, Apr. 8th, will feature some of the best golfers in the world fighting to climb to the top of the leaderboard and hoping to make the final cut for Sunday’s final round.
Top ranked golfer Dustin Johnson, 32, tragically dropped out of the tournament after injuring his back falling down stairs leaving room for fellow American’s Charley Hoffman, 40, Rickie Fowler, 28, and Fred Couples, 57, to have outstanding opening rounds in pursuit of the elusive green jacket.
The 2017 tournament is the 81st Masters and the first of the four major PGA tournaments held annually. In June the U.S. Open will be held which is hosted by the U.S.G.A. and The Open Championship, hosted by The R&A is held every July. The final major of the year is the PGA Championship held in August.
The 2016 Masters saw England’s Danny Willett, 29, finish the final round on top of the leaderboard for the win. That is Danny’s only major tournament win and while the victory will earn him an invite to all future Masters tournaments, Danny struggled to make the cut after day 2 in the 2017 tourney. Instead, Charley and Sergio Garcia, 37, battled it out at the top spot, tied at 4 under, after the first two days. Hold onto your seats fans, round three will be interesting.
