Chris Brown, 26, knows he’s made a mistake or two when it comes to his love life, but he doesn’t want Justin Bieber, 22, to follow in his footsteps.
Like the rest of us, Chris is holding out hope for a Jelena reunion, and he’s reminiscing on his own regrets to push Justin to be a better man to Selena Gomez, 23.
“Chris knows he lost the love of his life with Rihanna and he doesn’t want that to happen to Justin,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“Biebs still has a chance — a real chance to be happy and in love with a woman who loves him to death and has a pure heart. Chris told Justin that the universe doesn’t make women like Selena and Rihanna often.
He told Justin he’d batter latch onto this woman and hold her down, otherwise, he’ll regret it for the rest of his life, just like Chris regrets losing RiRi.”
Jelena’s relationship made headlines again on March 19 after Justin posted a throwback photo of the pair kissing and she made a point to like and comment on it. As we previously reported, this was a red flag to Chris, who’s obviously been through a lot of drama in his own relationships.
“Chris is sitting back, looking at Justin’s antics and shaking his head,” a source told us EXCLUSIVELY. “For starters, Justin is acting like a younger Chris — arrogant, womanizing, breaking hearts and acting like his s*** don’t stink.
Chris wants JB to know that ain’t cool and that he’d better stop juggling these girls like he’s at a circus before he loses the love of his life.”
Even though Selena has said she’s “beyond done” with Justin, we’ve learned the on-off lovers are back in contact.
“They have been texting non-stop since Justin posted the throwback pic of them kissing,” our insider explained. “Selena absolutely loves it when Justin shows his affection for her on social media. She thinks it’s flattering and it’s their way of flirting.”
