Justin Bieber Cancels All Future Purpose Tour Meet-and-Greets: I Get 'Exhausted to the Point of Depression'

It's too late now to say sorry.

Justin Bieber will not be meeting his concertgoers until further notice. The pop star announced on Instagram Tuesday that he has canceled all future meet-and-greets, which cost $2,000.

"I'm going to be canceling my meet and greets. I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy," Bieber, 22, wrote.

Fans who purchased the meet-and-greet packages will only be given refunds unless they forfeit their tickets in exchange.

"Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression," he continued in his post.

"The pressure of meeting people's expectations of what I'm supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders."

Adding, "Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised.

Can't tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn't so hard on me.. And I want to stay in the healthy mind set I'm in to give you the best show you have ever seen."

Bieber's management confirmed the cancellations, explaining that a "security incident" caused Bieber to "re-think how meet and greets are handled." In the meantime, the management team is offering a "VIP hangout" as an alternative.

The singer has 114 shows on the remainder of his Purpose world tour. The next show is scheduled to take place on March 25 in Las Vegas.
