Kesha, 29, has been through a whole lot of drama in 2016, and and what better way to de-stress than some R&R by the pool.
The singer is showing off that she still has a killer bikini body, but since she’s no longer performing much she’s not a “Slave to perfection,” to be a size zero. Although she looks incredible, the singer still has some choice words for body shamers.
The “Timber” singer posted a classic black and white picture of herself in a dark bikini splayed out on the top steps of a Palm Springs pool. She captioned the Instagram pic “Not a slave to perfection right now. F**k it. Body shamers please f**k off, ain’t nobody got time for it.@lhorizonpalmsprings in my skivvies.”
Kesha looks adorable and awesome, looking into the camera through a pair of striped cat-eye sunglasses, while putting one hand up to brush against her face.
She’s laying tummy down so all we can see is her backside through the tiny layer of water, and she looks sensational.
We can’t imagine why on Earth ANYONE would try to body shame someone looking so hot, but since she told the haters to get lost, they clearly did because when reading the responses on her post, everyone gives her nothing but love and props for her photo and message.
Kesha has always been an outspoken advocate against body shaming, especially after landing in rehab in 2014 to deal with eating disorder issues.
As for her not being a “Slave to perfection right now,” it could be a swipe at the fact that she lost her legal bid to get out of her contract with producer Dr. Luke, which means she’s still not in the studio recording any new material while her case is being appealed.
Thus she’s got the time to sit by the pool and not feel pressured about looking super skinny, because she can’t go out and perform new music anyway.
