As if the controversy over Nick Young, 30, admitting to D’Angelo Russell, 20, that he was cheating on Iggy Azalea, 25, needed to get any more outrageous, here comes Nicki Minaj, 33.
Though D’Angelo filmed Nick’s confession, it was Nicki that allegedly leaked the video the Internet!
“Somebody from Nicki Minaj’s camp, a source, got the video, and they sent it in,” a writer for Famelous told ESPN 97.5 FM during the HD Show on March 30.
“And they said here, ‘put this out, because Iggy wants to talk mess about Nicki Minaj. Put this out and let her know what her fiancé is doing.’”
What could have possibly prompted one of Nicki’s people to allegedly leak this video? In shades of the brutal feud between Nicki’s bae, Meek Mill, 28, and Drake, 29, Iggy allegedly “took a couple shots at Nicki…on Bravo TV,” the Famelous writer said. Basically, Iggy said that Nicki wasn’t “the only person who writes her raps,” just like how Meek accused Drake of using a ghostwriter.
“It had nothing to do with the basketball players,” according to Famelous source, noting that though D’Angelo put the video on Snapchat Live, but “it was just sitting there” until someone in the “Anaconda” rapper’s crew passed it off to Famelous.
The basketball players are feeling the backlash from it, though, as Russell was mercilessly booed whenever he joined his squad, the Los Angeles Lakers, in their game against the Miami Heat.
Nicki and Iggy have some major bad blood between them. Nicki famously trashed Iggy at the BET Awards in 2014 over the “Fancy” singer not writing all her own songs. Nicki even slammed people who “cut corners” to get to the top, throwing some shade at her rival.
Iggy said she was “unbothered” from the hate and it seemed Nicki ended the feud. Some beef never dies, it seems.

She said she doesn’t want to “marry a cheater,” and the wedding just might be off. However, the feud between her and Nicki may be back on.
