For Lady Gaga’s star-studded 30th birthday bash in L.A. Saturday evening, the 1989 singer donned a sequin short-sleeve jumpsuit and mussed up her bob a bit.
This is the most conservative of the three Swift-worn looks we’re highlighting, but it definitely deserves a second glance, as it’s a far cry the signature two-piece and heels combo we’re so used to seeing her in. But don’t think Swift completely changed things up — she teamed the glittery onesie with a bold statement lip and a pair of peep-toe heels.
The night before, Swift picked a super-short mini and super-high heels for a dinner date with BFF and singer Lorde. While this isn’t a completely new look for the star, it’s definitely on the sexier side of the spectrum, thanks to the leopard-print topper, strappy sandals and her signature bold red lip.
And lastly, for Reese Witherspoon’s 40th birthday extravaganza last weekend, T-Swift opted for a daringly sheer (yes, sheer!) long-sleeve blouse with a pussybow tie, plus a double-belted miniskirt. (A total style 180° from her typical turtleneck tops!) She accessorized the all-black ensemble with a pair of chic ankle booties and a matching handbag with gold detailing.
Swift’s recent style transformation comes fresh off her romantic tropical getaway with boyfriend Calvin Harris, where she switched up her swimwear game from her romantic one-pieces to a series of sexy, barely-there string bikinis (which you can now own). Perhaps Swift was foreshadowing more sultry style to come? We think so.
