Well, Justin Bieber 22, and Selena Gomez, 23, have gone and sufficiently confused us once again! The pair sent some majorly mixed signals at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on April 3, leaving us to wonder, yet again, what the status of their relationship is this week. Get the scoop here!
When Selena and Justin crossed paths backstage, he completely ignored her and didn’t stop to talk, Entertainment Tonight reports. The moment must’ve caught Sel off-guard, too, because she was reportedly headed to talk to the press, but changed her path and decided against facing the room of reporters.
As we previously told you, the 23-year-old made sure she wasn’t in the audience while the Biebs performed at the beginning of the show, clearly not wanting the focus to be on her reaction shot. But, later in the evening, a fan at the show caught Selena on her feet, giving her ex a standing ovation with a big smile on her face as he was presented with an award. Wait, what? Why are these two so confusing!
Even though the “Hands To Myself” singer seemed to be the one who wanted to cut ties in this relationship — she even said she was “beyond done” talking about Justin — her actions haven’t exactly mimicked her words.
In fact, she was even in the audience of the 22-year-old’s Staples Center show just last month, and spent time with him at the Montage Hotel for the entire week he was in town! Girl is sending us MAJORLY mixed signals.
However, if this new report is true, it looks like it’s Justin who is “beyond done” this time around. Perhaps he’s totally pissed over rumors that Selena and Charlie Puth have been hooking up casually…which is, after all, just what Sel wanted.
“She absolutely loves that he’s so jealous,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com. “She can’t help but love all the attention.”
