Will Khloe Kardashian never go through with her divorce from Lamar Odom? She’s ready to move on, but Khloe, 31, is afraid that leaving Lamar for good will completely ruin Lamar.
After the 36-year-old former NBA star was seen partying at a bar on March 26, Khloe fears her estranged husband could lead himself to death if she’s no longer around.
Khloe has always been concerned about Lamar, but the recent revelation that he is drinking again only furthers her fears, according to TMZ. Sources told the outlet that while Khloe wants to finalize their divorce, she feels a “tremendous amount of guilt” about how Lamar is going to react once she’s out of his life.
Considering he drank and drugged himself into a nearly fatal coma in October, Khloe is terrified that divorcing Lamar will result in a downward spiral that actually will end up taking his life.
In addition to those concerns, Khloe is also starting to feel like it’s pointless to try getting Lamar to addiction treatment, TMZ‘s sources said. An insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com that Khloe has tried enlisting Scott Disick to push Lamar to rehab, but even treatment might not help if she ends things once and for all.
Although Lamar’s health has made quite the remarkable comeback since he was hospitalized, Khloe worries that he’s capable of overdosing in the future — especially after he was spotted partying in a bar just one day before spending Easter with her family.
She even cancelled a March 31 filming of Kocktails With Khloe because she was so distraught over his relapse!
It isn’t just Lamar’s return to partying that’s making her worry, either. Lamar is reportedly in denial that anything like his October overdose will ever happen to him again, refusing to listen to Khloe whenever she expresses her concerns.
So even while they’re still technically married, Lamar could be on his way to trouble…no wonder Khloe is so scared to make their divorce final!
