Stacey Flounders locked horns with her fellow ex-WAG after Loose Women presenter Katie appeared to back Johnson's sister's campaign against his conviction.
Spat: Katie Price was the target of an angry tweet by Stacey Flounders, who branded her 'embarrassing' |
Price, 37, retweeted a message by Faye Johnson which heralded another footballer's appeal victory.
But Flounders, 26, was apparently upset by Price wading in to the campaign and tweeted: 'Sick of these Katie Price stories, what has she got to do with Adam? #embarrassing'
Storm: Stacey broke a six-month Twitter silence to chide Price for lending her weight to Johnson's appeal bid |
After the meet-up, Price retweeted a message from Faye, in which she celebrated news that Ched Evans - another footballer who was accused of rape - has won an appeal.
Price then retweeted a MailOnline story about Faye's apparent hope that Evans's successful appeal might bode well for her brother.
On the day she and Johnson met up, she tweeted a number of videos thanking Faye for bringing her mother's horse.
The coverage Price and Faye Johnson's meeting has got seems to have angered Flounders, who broke a six-month Twitter silence to blast Katie.
Sister: Faye Johnson, pictured, and Price became friends after the Loose Women presenter sent a message to her during Johnson's trial |
Some of Flounders's 3,000 followers rallied around her, with one writing: 'It is Katie Price she will do/say anything to get her name/picture in the papers quite sad really.'
Whilst on Twitter, Flounders also revealed she had returned to the UK from Dubai after a trip away from her and Johnson's daughter, one-year-old Ayla.
She wrote: 'Enjoyed that little break in Dubia, just what I needed , now back home to my little girl', before adding: 'Oops I meant Dubai.'
Johnson is currently serving a six-year sentence he was given for grooming and sexually touching a 15-year-old fan. He is appealing his conviction and his sentence.
