The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun turn into real life heroes as they rush to help victims of car crash (but have they given away cliffhanger ending to the show?)

They risk their lives everyday on-screen, battling zombies as Daryl Dixon and Glenn Rhee in The Walking Dead.
But Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun turned out to be real life heroes after they stumbled across a car crash in Peachtree City, Atlanta, on Thursday.

Driving to the set of the hit AMC show, the pair suddenly became aware of the incident and jumped off their motorbikes to see how they could help.
Rushing over to the scene, the duo checked if the victims were hurt and waited with the group until the paramedics arrived.

'It looked like he was trying to help everybody, kind of calm everybody,' an eyewitness said of Norman to the WTOC.
Whilst no serious injuries were reported, the severity of the crash caused significant damage to the bumper of a car, which appeared to have crumpled in the impact.

Meanwhile, fans of The Walking Dead have speculated whether the pair's appearance near set could be a clue on what to expect for the next season.
Season six's dramatic season finale left viewers in turmoil after the cliffhanger ending alluded one character had died, but Norman and Steven's return to the set could indicate they survived.

In the last episode, Jeffrey Dean Morgan made his debut as brutal, bat-swinging Negan, who used a children's game to pick his victim - the identity of whom is still unknown.

The leader of the Saviors played a game of 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe' as he picked his victim, pointing his bat at leader Rick Grimes, his son Carl, wounded Daryl, Eugene, Abraham, Michonne, sick and pregnant Maggie and her boyfriend Glenn Rhee.

Before bringing the game to a deadly end, Negan warned that if anyone moved that Carl's other eye would be cut out and fed to his father Rick.

With Rick and his crew kneeling before him, Negan raised his weapon and brought it smashing down as the rhyme came to an end.
