Troy Ave Charged With Attempted Murder & Possession Of Weapon After Scary Club Shooting

Shocking new development! Troy Ave, whose real name is Roland Collins, was charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon after a terrifying shooting at a T.I. performance on May 25. Yikes.

Things are not looking good for Troy Ave, 30. The rapper was arrested for attempted murder and possession of a weapon for a club shooting that occurred on May 25 before a T.I., performance. Troy, along with three other people, were shot during the incident, and there is video clearly showing Troy firing his gun at people. Watch the shocking footage!

After the damning video of him opening fire on a crowded club went live, it isn’t very likely that he’ll be able to escape a long sentence. The NYPD released the video in order to try to identify the people in the video who were seen in the room when the shooting started. Well, they definitely got the help they needed, and now Troy is in HUGE trouble.

The shooting occurred shortly before rapper T.I. was set to take the stage in the green room/VIP area where everyone was ticketed. No one knows what the altercation was over, but it did not end well. Four people — including himself — were shot in the rampage, with one person later dying from injuries sustained in the attack. Troy shot himself in the leg during the struggle, then fled the scene and was later driven to a hospital.

While the police are unclear as to whether there were multiple shooters, they are pretty sure that it was Troy who shot multiple people when he opened fire. It will remain undetermined until ballistics come back, according to ABC 7 news. We’re wishing everyone involved a safe recovery, and that the police can get the situation cleared up and under control as soon as possible!

Hey folks, what do you think of this new development? Should he be convicted? Tell us your thoughts!
