Zayn Malik, 23, is NOT letting Azealia Banks, 24, get away with calling him racist names and using homophobic slurs against him. The former One Direction singer took to Twitter to respond to Azealia for her disgusting rant against him and let her know his previous cryptic tweets had nothing to do with her.
“Why you been saying nasty things about me ?” Zayn tweeted. “I wasn’t talking about you lol?” In case you weren’t following the drama on May 10, it all began when Azealia accused the singer of copying her video for “Chasing time” in his newly-released “Like I Would” footage.
She made the accusations in a light and joking tone, but when Zayn tweeted, “No lies… I see you reaching but I don’t care,” she was convinced he was shading her…and then things got ugly. Really ugly.
“‘Tying to make myself known but I’m still known as the token sand n***a from 1D,'” she began, mocking Zayn. “‘I eat sand for breakfast and suck d*** for dinner.’ Lol zayns f***ot a** gave my cell phone number to his fans. LOL @zaynmalik IS A F****OT.”
Ummm, wow…Azealia definitely took things WAY too far, but it’s certainly not a surprise — she’s been known to say majorly nasty things on Twitter and seems to just LOVE getting herself into feuds with other celebrities (Iggy Azalea knows about it all too well)!
Things got even more intense when Disney star Skai Jackson, 14, defended Zayn, and then Azealia re-focused her attention to the poor teenager. “All that sticking up for Zayn the sand n***er better amount to something for that little Thot in training Lol,” she wrote. “Zayn better put Skai Jackson in a video AND pay for her a** and ti**ies.” UMMMM…seriously!?
