Another day, another shocking development in Amber Heard, 30, and Johnny Depp’s crazy divorce case. Following the actress’ claims that her husband attacked her during a May 21 fight, alleged text messages sent by her in 2014 have emerged, in which she details another violent encounter. The alleged text exchange is between Amber and Johnny’s assistant, Stephen, and in the conversation, he tries to smooth things over between the 30-year-old and, it would appear, Johnny.
“Think he’s just texted you. He’s incredibly apologetic and knows that he has done wrong,” the alleged text from Stephen begins. “He wants to get better now. He’s been very explicit about that this morning. Feel like we’re at a critical juncture.” In the response, allegedly from Amber, the other party clearly seems upset, saying she doesn’t know “how to be around him after what he did to me.”
“Obviously he has no idea what he did or to the extent that he did it,” Amber’s alleged message reads. “If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he’d be appalled.”
In response, Stephen allegedly writes, “He was appalled. When I told him he kicked you, he cried. It was disgusting and he knows it,” and later adds that the man they’re discussing is “a little lost boy and needs all the help he can get.” The conversation concludes with the victim noting that “he’s done this many times before.”
Amber filed court documents on May 27, claiming Johnny had physically abused her. In the docs, she references the blowout fight on May 21, during which he allegedly threw an iPhone at her face, as well as another incident in Dec. 2015 when she “truly feared for [her] life.”
Meanwhile, Johnny and his camp have ferociously denied the claims. The Never Back Down star was granted a temporary restraining order, and the exes are set to meet in court later this month.
