Charlie Sheen Reveals He Regrets Ruining ‘Two & A Half Men’

It’s been seven months since Charlie Sheen revealed he was HIV Positive on the ‘Today’ show, and on June 21, he returned with a very happy update — he was feeling great. However, he did reveal the few regrets he had in his life.

“It was like being released from prison,” Charlie Sheen told Matt Lauer on the Today show about his recent reveal that he had HIV. “We unearthed the stepping stones to the rubicon of change.” However, he still had regrets that affected his every day life — one being that he was fired from the TV show he starred on for the first eight seasons.

“I regret not using a condom the one or two times when this whole thing happened. I regret ruining Two and a Half Men. I regret not being more involved in my children’s life going up, which I am now,” the actor, 50, said. “We can only move forward from today.”

Of course, Two and a Half Men did continue without the actor when he was fired after season eight. For the final three episodes, Ashton Kutcher came in. However, it was never the same, and Charlie very publicly bashed the program.

“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales,” he told TMZ after his firing. “It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of their bazillions, never have to look at whatshisc— again, and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”

However, we have to say that during the interview, Charlie did seem healthier than we’ve seen in a long time. You can see the actor on the big screen later this year in Nine Eleven, the indie film also starring Whoopi Goldberg, is based on five people trapped in an elevator of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
