Imagine being this terrible of a person! A woman who follows Drake on Instagram decided to chime in on his touching tribute to his Charlie Bartlett co-star Anton Yelchin, who tragically died at the age of 27 on June 19. Drake bashed the disrespectful woman for her offensive comment. Click through to see his angry message!
Drake posted a screenshot of a scene from Charlie Bartlett, which shows both him and Anton (who played the title character) talking. “Rest in Peace Anton,” he simply captioned it. Somehow, one of Drake’s followers thought it was appropriate to comment, “@champagnepapi was that the last soul you sucked?” Wow!
Drake didn’t waste any time calling her out. “the worst part about your comment on this post is that you are someone’s mother…I pray for the child u are raising. Waaaaaste gyal” Well, that probably shut her up, considering that Drake’s other followers all jumped on her in the comments, too. The user’s account is private.
This is far from the only tribute to Anton on social media. Many of Anton’s past co-stars and friends posted touching messages about the amazing actor whose life was so cruelly lost. Stars like Kat Dennings, Jay Baruchel, and Chris Evans shared their thoughts about Anton, who died tragically in a freak accident, pinned between his car and a brick mailbox at his home. We can’t imagine what his friends are going through right now.
Anton’s Star Trek co-stars are heavily grieving as well. His final film, Star Trek: Beyond, premieres in July 2016. As his co-stars begin their press tours and promote the movie, they’re going through a terrible, terrible time. His close friends from the film, like John Cho, Zoe Saldana, and director JJ Abrams, gave beautiful tributes to him on Twitter.
