The Group Stage of the Euro 2016 is about to wrap up, but there’s still plenty of soccer action left before the next round. Northern Ireland will try to upset the defending World Cup champs, Germany, but that’s obviously easier said than done!

Germany sits on top of Group C as they head into the June 21 game at Parc des Princes in Paris, France. But, the World Cup champs are not that far ahead of Poland and Northern Island. While both squads are pretty much assured places in the Round of 16, a win here could help their standing for the knockout round. The game kicks off at 12:00 P.M. EST so be ready to see every thrilling action

Despite what has been considered a lackluster performance by the defending world champs, Germany isn’t sweating this game. “We didn’t know that much about Northern Ireland, which is not a big surprise,” Matt Hummels told reporters, according to Sky Sports. “I don’t think I’ve played them before, but British teams are often similar.”

“We know they could get the confidence to beat us if we let them,” Matt said, understanding that overconfidence could be his downfall. “We have to try to be the better team from the beginning so they don’t start believing they can win it.”

Northern Ireland might not need Germany to give them confidence. After all, they beat Ukraine, 2-0, securing their first win at a major tournament in over 30 years, per Bayern Central. “We’re a good counter-attacking team,” manager Will O’Neill, 46, said, according to The Independent. “No team is flawless and the Germans have proved they have flaws as well. There are opportunities there for us.”

Northern Ireland better make some opportunities for Conor Washington, 24, Gareth McAuley, 36, and Oliver Norwood, 25, to either draw the German side or to somehow pull off a miracle goal. Germany is the heavy favorite going into this game but Northern Ireland could very well pull off another shocker.
