Katy Perry, 31, is now the biggest Kim Kardashian fan after the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashian star completely trashed Taylor Swift, 26! Katy, as HollywoodLife has learned, is completely grateful that Kim exposed Taylor by calling her a two-faced liar!
“Katy loves what Kim said about Taylor” in that scathing GQ interview, an inside source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife. “She loves that one of the most popular people in the world is calling out Taylor for who she really is because people might actually start listening.”
“It’s no secret that Katy and Taylor don’t get along,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com, in what may be the understatement of the year. Katy must have been giddy to see Kim called Taylor a liar, claiming that the “Wildest Dream” singer “totally approved” the lyrics to Kanye West’s, 39, controversial song, “Famous.”
Kim claimed that Taylor “totally knew [the song] was coming out. She wanted to, all of a sudden, act like she didn’t.” The Selfish author also said that she and Yeezy have video proof that they told Taylor that Kanye was going to call her a “bitch” in the song, a claim that Taylor has denied! Taylor has shot back at Kim, saying she’s just repeating what her husband tells her and that Kanye “never played the song for her.”
It’s a case of she said/she said, and while fans look for the truth, Katy is glad that Taylor’s reputation has taken a hit! “Katy is happy that people are getting to know that Taylor isn’t as squeaky clean as she appears to be,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com. “Katy is definitely on Team Kim right now!”
It looks like Katy’s tweet – “Miss u baby @taylorswift13” – really was just a hacker having fun and this feud will continue. Thankfully, Taylor has her new squeeze, Tom Hiddleston, 35, to make her feel better after this fight. Though, if Taylor and Tom were kicking off their romance while she was still with Calvin Harris, 32, Katy might have even more evidence that her longtime rival is not as “squeaky clean” as she appears.
