LeBron James’ Wife: 5 Things To Know About Savannah After Epic NBA Finals

LeBron James is finally an NBA champ with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but who is his biggest fan? Well, meet Savannah.

Ever since the NBA finals started, we’ve been hearing the name Savannah James a lot — she’s the wife of LeBron James, one of the most popular basketball players in the world right now. But who is she? Did you know she started her own event for high school teens? What about that she works on a furniture line? Here’s five things you probably didn’t know about Savannah.

1. She was LeBron’s high school sweet heart!

Savannah and LeBron met when they were kids and started dating at only 16 years old. They dated for a whopping twelve years before they married. She became pregnant with their first child during their senior year of high school. “I was very scared,” she said in an interview about the pregnancy. “I was bawling. But he said, ‘It’s not going to slow me down, and it’s not going to slow you down. We’re going to keep doing what we have to do.'”

2. She is the mother of LeBron’s three children.

LeBron Jr. was born on October 6, 2004, and the two had another child, Bryce Maximus was on June 14, 2007 — both before their marriage. Their third — their first daughter — came after the wedding. Zhuri was born on October 22, 2014!

3. She’s an entrepreneur.

In December 2013 she opened up “The Juice Spot,” and while it was constantly busy, she closed it down in January 2016 since she was too busy traveling. Now, she’s hoping to open a juice bar in Cleveland. She also has stated that she’s really into furniture, and helped design Home Court by LeBron James, a line for American Signature.

4. Giving back is her passion.

In 2013, she founded the “I PROMise Makeover” event, which provides prom dresses to underprivileged girls in Miami and Akron. “I can’t imagine being in their situation and not have somebody help,” Savannah told USA Today during her third year of the program. “I really care. It’s really in my soul to help people, and this is the first baby to come from it. There comes a time when you have to give back.”

5. She’s obsessed with Gaga and JLo, just like you.

If you follow her very active Instagram page, you know that she’s a lot you and me. She posts photos of JLo’s unreal body (“this sh-t just ain’t fair”), and gets really excited for TV. She actually posted about the premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel, writing “Don’t call, text or Email me. Thank you in advance.” We hear you lady!

Folks, were you happy to see the Cavs win?
