Nicolas Cage, 52, was spotted on an intimate date night with a mystery woman in a chic, floral kimono on June 24, just hours after announcing he had split from his wife, Alice Kim, 32. The actor was seen at Asanebo in Los Angeles, a spot well known for its celebrity clientele, eating sushi and locking lips with his mystery lady. So it’s pretty safe to assume things are already serious for the pair if Nic was willing to show that kind of PDA so close to announcing the END OF HIS MARRIAGE to his wife of over a decade.
On June 25, he was seen at Carrot Top‘s show in Las Vegas, and his date appeared to be that same woman, kimono and all, TMZ reported! Who is this woman and where does her affinity for constant kimono wearing come from??? We need to know!
Nic’s rep confirmed to HollywoodLife.com that he and Alice had been living apart since Jan. 2016, even though they only made the official announcement of their split last week. Just five months before the separation, the two had celebrated their 12 year wedding anniversary in Aug. They have a 10-year-old son named Kal-el Coppola Cage. Nic and Alice had seemed like the perfect couple for over a decade, making the split such a shock!
So what are we supposed to make of this? Is there any reason to suspect that Nic moving on so fast means there was trouble in paradise long before the split? We feel SO bad about the split, but everyone needs to move on eventually.
