Odell Beckham Jr. Slams Anderson Varejao During NBA Finals — Read The Tweets

Odell Beckham Jr. clearly is over Anderson Varejao. During game 5 on Monday night, the NY Giants receiver took to Twitter to prove he was not impressed with the Warriors forward.

Shots fired, Odell Beckham Jr.! The 23-year-old NFL player is a football expert, but he’s still tweeting about basketball… and soccer? Yes, really. On June 13, he took to Twitter starting off with “I said I wasn’t gonna tweet,” and it was all downhill from there. Read his disses to Anderson Varejao here!

“I said I wasn’t gonna tweet, I love Lebron. But Varejo has turned basketball into soccer…. #LetsBeReal #ItsGettinSad,” Odell tweeted on June 13. That started a wind of tweets, including “Blows my mind,” “Real talk. If u had to guard @KyrieIrving or @StephenCurry30, who would u rather ?? My ankles hurt thinkin bout it,” and “Who will win an Oscar first , Varejo? Or another one for Leo!!!?”

That was of course his response during game five when the Golden State Warriors could not secure the championship, losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers at home. Anderson, a fomer Cav, wasn’t great at helping on this, making mistakes on the court.

The Warriors were missing Draymond Green in game five after he was suspended for swinging at LeBron James at the end of game four. Golden State’s biggest win was in game two when they crushed the Cavs 110-77.

Do you think Odell’s diss was over the top? Or was he right? Let us know what you think!
