Raheem Sterling: England Fans Boo Soccer Star For Playing Poorly In Big Game

Cue the boos! England’s Raheem Sterling disappointed England fans with his poor performance in the Euro 2016 match against Wales on June 16, and they had no problem letting him know that.

Raheem Sterling joined England’s national soccer team for Euro 2016, but the country’s fans certainly don’t care to have him around! The 21-year-old soccer player, who plays for Manchester City in the Premier League, didn’t put on any sort of show in the 2016 UEFA European Championship game against Wales. In fact, Raheem was completely flat, and fans were NOT happy — so they totally booed him!

Although Raheem was on the starting roster for England’s match up against Wales, his stats certainly didn’t look like a starter’s. In the first half of the game, he had 0 shots on target, 0 take-ons, 0 chances created, and 1 sitter missed. Yikes! His performance was so bad, even his own fans couldn’t help booing him!

Raheem was getting the heat on Twitter too, as many fans expressed their frustration with his poor performance — especially because he just signed a whopping £49 million contract.

Fortunately for Raheem, his team managed to carry the weight he was not and managed to pull off a last-minute win to defeat Wales 2-1. But Raheem might want to step it up in the next game, because clearly these fans aren’t going to put up with a crappy player!

Hey all, do you think Raheem deserved the shade he was getting? Do you think he’s a good player?
