New details about the breakup are right in-line with what we’ve previously reported: There was no drama, things just fizzled out. “[Calvin] started to lose interest over the past few months, but really tried to not just break up,” E! News reports. “They were just not very compatible in different areas in their relationship.”
Indeed, Calvin and Taylor came from completely different worlds, and it obviously didn’t help that they were both constantly touring, traveling and working. “It seemed like they were more friends than lovers,” E!’s source adds.
Don’t worry, though — there was no cheating, according to the site. “There were no other women involved with Adam,” the insider says.”He did not cheat on her at all. Just not a good match.”
But, as HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY reported, there was a little more that went into it than that. “Taylor was starting to pressure Calvin into walking down the aisle,” an insider told HollywoodLife “He just felt that he wasn’t ready yet.”
News of Calvin and Taylor’s split broke on June 1, and their last public sighting together was just 12 days before on May 20. During that time, they were photographed embracing in the street, and everything looked to be going totally fine. Oh, how fast things can change…
