Taylor Swift, 26, and Calvin Harris, 32, don’t want any traces of one another on their public social media pages now that they’re broken up! While this split initially seemed clean, things took a major turn when pics of Tay flaunting insane PDA with Tom Hiddleston, 35, were released on June 15…and the exes made a point to prove they’re NOT on good terms any longer.
“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” the DJ tweeted on June 2 — but it turns out that couldn’t be further from what’s really going on.
Besides just deleting that tweet, Calvin went on a social media cleanse, ridding every image of Taylor from his Instagram and then she fired right back and did the same! Yup, all those adorable, romantic vacation pics and the epic “Swan Goals” shot? GONE! The videos of Tay dancing to Calvin’s sets? DISAPPEARED. It’s totally OVER!
Everything changed on June 15, when The Sun published shocking photos of the 26-year-old making out with Tom Hiddleston, just two weeks after her split from Calvin. The 32-year-old was SO caught off guard by the pics that he tweeted, “Oh boy it’s about to go down,” with three skull emojis. He eventually deleted the tweet, but not before fans took screengrabs…and his message was made loud and clear.
As we previously reported, Taylor and Tom first linked up at the Met Gala on May 2, where they were caught on camera dancing together. She was still with Calvin at the time, but apparently that’s when sparks began to fly between this hot new duo.
“[Calvin] has lots of questions and is disappointed in Taylor,” an insider told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “It goes against everything he thought she would do. It puts her in a bad light in his mind.” This is getting interesting, guys!
