Ben, 43, and Jennifer, 44, have yet to take any steps forward with their divorce, reports TMZ. As you might remember, they announced that their relationship was over in June 2015, shortly after their 10th wedding anniversary, but according to the report they haven’t taken any steps in finalizing the split. That’s pretty crazy!
It’s extremely unusual for a couple to announce that they are getting divorced and then, well, not get divorced. Plus, the same report claims that Ben is still living on the same property as Jennifer and their three children. In the year since the couple split, they’ve traveled the world as a family and were even caught kissing during a trip to Paris, France. Hmm!
However, sources close to the couple claim that the lack of divorce is all about protecting their children. They have Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4, that they are reportedly trying to build a structured life for, even despite their still pending divorce.
While that makes complete and total sense, we have to admit that we are rooting for these two lovebirds to make it work once again! In May 2016, just one month before their June 29 wedding anniversary, it was reported that Ben and Jen were considering renewing their vows and giving love another shot. Now that would make for one very happy ending to this fairytale romance!
