Is Britney Spears going to be the next Bachelorette?
The princess of pop, 34, is allegedly dying to find a new guy, and potentially a husband, through a reality show, according to a new report from InTouch Weekly! She’s enlisted her dad for help trying to craft the perfect competition!
“[Britney] is begging her father to let her do a reality show that focuses on her finding a husband,” a source told InTouch Weekly. “She’s a huge fan of The Bachelor and thinks it would be really fun.” This is the most exciting news we’ve heard in a long time. Believe us; we have so many ideas for what she should name this show if it happens. Boys? Lucky? Break the Ice? Piece of Me?
Obviously, Britney would have no problem getting a guy on TV if she really wanted to go through with a Bachelorette-style show. Dudes would be lining up in droves to audition for the chance to woo her! Lest we forget, though, that Britney already once had a reality show about her love life. Britney and then-husband Kevin Federline starred on the reality hit Britney & Kevin: Chaotic in 2004, which…did not go well. They divorced shortly after the show aired.
Britney’s alleged desire for a dating competition comes after her split from longtime boyfriend Charlie Ebersol in June 2015. She’s been single since, focusing on her wildly successful Las Vegas residency and raising her two boys. Finding a husband on reality TV is an unconventional move, but Britney leads anything but an ordinary life! This may even be better revenge on famous ex Justin Timberlake than sampling “Cry Me A River” on her latest song!
