Derek Jeter, 42, and Hannah Davis, 26, are tying the knot on July 2, but it’s certainly taken him a while to get to where he’s ready to walk down the aisle. The legendary baseball player went through a bunch of high-profile relationships before getting together with Hannah, but since they started dating, it’s been straight-up bliss. Even though Hannah’s a successful model in her own right, people really started noticing her when she was spotted getting cozy with Derek in Aug. 2013. They managed to remain pretty low-key for a while, but the supermodel was front-and-center at DJ’s final game for the Yankees in Sept. 2014 — and they even shared a sweet hug as he walked off the field.
With his career over, the shortstop had a lot more time to dedicate to his relationship, and we began seeing these two out and about more and more. They were photographed multiple times on sweet strolls throughout New York City, and it seems like the extra publicity paid off for Hannah — she was the cover girl for Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition in Feb. 2015!
These two were first rumored to be engaged at the end of Oct. 2015, and she confirmed it by flaunting her massive engagement ring at an event in NYC on Nov. 2. Now, just eight months later, they’re ready to tie the knot — and we couldn’t be happier for them.
