No doubt about it, everybody loves Ezra Miller. The tk-year-old actor has been in some of our favorite movies, like Trainwreck and The Perks of Being A Wallflower, and now Justice League! Warner Bros. surprised fans during the DC panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23 by releasing footage of the film far before its 2017 release — or a trailer even dropped!
And it’s clear from the footage that Ezra is going to be one of the highlights of the film. Playing Barry Allen, the civilian name of The Flash, he’s just an ordinary (sort of) kid who gets recruited by Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) to join his team of superheroes to defend the world from evil.
Ezra is the comic relief of the movie, a kid with the power to move incredibly fast, who has a home laboratory full of gadgets that leaves even Batman in awe. This kid doesn’t even have Bruce Wayne money! DC fans were super excited to see Ezra in the special footage, and not just because he’s going to be an amazing Flash. He’s pretty cute, too:
It’s okay, guys. We reacted the same way! From that small snippet of footage, it looks like Justice League is going to be an awesome film. The Flash and Batman are joined by Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). Nice lineup! Now it’s just countdown until the full trailer drops.
