Nick Young, 31, isn’t going to like this. His Los Angeles Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell, 20, and ex Iggy Azalea, 26, have a serious case of “Hotline” bling. Since the couple called off their engagement, HollywoodLife has EXCLUSIVELY learned that D’Angelo and Iggy are having intimate phone conversations with each other.
D’Angelo feels horrible for Iggy after rumors emerged that Nick is expecting a second child with his baby’s mother. The point guard spent weeks agonizing over whether he should reach out to Iggy, and when he finally did, he was shocked to hear her response. “D’Angelo slid into her DMs and asked for her number and she gave it to him. He then called her, apologizing for causing this ruckusbut to his surprise, she instantly started thanking him,” a source close to the 20-year-old said.
“She told D’Angelo she’s thankful he brought all this to light with Nick because now she’s not a fool. She told D she would have fallen into severe depression had she actually become Mrs. Young and then all of Nick’s bullsh** surfaced,” the source continued. “She told D he has nothing to worry about and told him he’s a much better man, and basketball player, than Nick could ever be.”
As HollywoodLife previously reported, Iggy’s been receiving lots of love. On Jul. 1, the pop star posted a picture of herself in her dressing room surrounded by several beautiful flower arrangements. In the caption, Iggy wrote “felt good to come in my dressing room and see all these flowers. Thanks genuinely to everyone that’s reminded me Iam loved today.”
