Drop what you’re doing and watch Jason Derulo, 26, perform Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature,” if you didn’t catch it on the June 30 premiere of ABC’s Greatest Hits! The performance was insane, and Jason nailed everything from the voice to the dance moves. No wonder fans were freaking out after watching it! Check it out.
Holy moly. We were fully expecting ABC’s new show Greatest Hits to be awesome, but we didn’t realize it would be THIS awesome. Jason took the stage in a patent leather jacket, and showed off his amazing voice and next-level dance moves, and no “HOO!’s” or moonwalks were spared!
Not to mention, He looked totally amazeballs. Jason was rocking a sky-high mohawk when he took the stage, and his shiny black coat was very MJ-esque. He wore a white t-shirt and tight pants underneath, but the best part of the ensemble was the white tube socks under his shoes – so Michael!
Before the performance, Jason explained how Michael was “his hero” and how he was “the reason I am who I am today.” He gushed that he “moved the crowd and people were just so touched. I want to make people feel like that. I’ve never seen anything like that. It’s not something that was normal.” So touching!
The six week event will feature several of the biggest bands from the 80’s, 90’s, and 2k’s performing the songs that were the most popular in their respective time period. Tonight’s Michael Jackson tribute was a special case, but we’re sure the rest of the series will be just as amazing!
