Juno: NASA’s Space Probe Sends Hilarious Tweets While Arriving On Jupiter

Who knew a space probe could be so hilarious? Just wait until you see all of the tweets sent by Juno, a space probe sent by NASA to explore Jupiter, on it’s descent into the mysterious planet’s orbit.

On Monday, July 4, NASA’s Juno Mission reached it’s destination: Jupiter! Without fail, the space probe sent numerous tweets out to keep the world updated on it’s status, and it turns out that Juno is a little cocky about it’s success.

Can a space probe be sassy? Maybe not before, but thanks to technology and the wonderful world of social media, we’ve met our first smart-mouthed NASA project.

It took Juno five years to get to Jupiter, but the space probe finally entered the planet’s orbit after a 35-minute engine burn on Independence Day. Thankfully, there were no destructive alien life forces around to interfere!

As cool as Juno’s mission to explore and “uncover” the secrets of Jupiter is, the little space probe that could made waves on social media with it’s active Twitter account. The space probe sent out a play-by-play of it’s descent into Jupiter’s orbit, and even told the planet to “deal with it” as it prepared to start exploring. Hilarious? Absolutely!

Man, is Juno a funny little space probe or what? We can’t wait to see what else it tweets once the exploring begins. Maybe there will be an alien life form sighting? Hmm!

Tell us, folks — Do YOU think it’s cool that the space probe is tweeting updates to the world? Do YOU think Juno is being a bit smug? Comment below, let us know!
