Katy Perry, 31, hasn’t said much when it comes to her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift, 26…and she’s kept the coyness up now that she’s been brought into the 26-year-old’s new public spat with Calvin Harris. Could this GIF be Katy’s way of responding to Calvin mentioning her name in the middle of all this?!
Without any explanation, the 31-year-old shared a GIF of Hillary Clinton raising her eyebrows and then shrugging and smiling while standing at a podium. The gesture kind of gives a “I don’t know exactly how I got dragged into this but I don’t hate it” vibe, which would totally make sense considering the latest drama!
Oh, and then she took it a step further by retweeting a message she wrote herself…and it’s pretty telling. “Time, the ultimate truth teller,” it said. Looks like Katy’s pretty excited that Taylor got what was coming for her!
If you haven’t been following, here’s what happened: After a new report came out regarding why Taylor and Calvin split, the DJ took to Twitter to share his side of the story. He confirmed that his ex wrote his and Rihanna’s hit “This Is What You Came For” and praised her for it, but he didn’t have much else nice to say.
“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” he wrote. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do. I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry.”
Obviously, Katy and Taylor have been in a very public feud since the release of Tay’s hit “Bad Blood,” although neither singer has confirmed it. It looks like Calvin just did, though — and Katy doesn’t seem too bothered by it!
