Well, this is pretty hilarious. After Melania, 46, was ridiculed for allegedly plagiarizing a speech while promoting her husband Donald‘s run for the White House, she rocked a seriously sexy white dress with puffed fabric near the wrists.
Just over a week later when Congresswoman Joyce, 65, took the stage she wore a nearly identical dress — prompting many to believe it was pay back for plagiarizing Michelle Obama!
With only glance at the two dresses you can see that they are almost exactly the same. They are both a bright, clean white fabric, they are botch cinched at the waist, and they both have those puffy ends on their sleeves. However, they were definitely not the same!
Upon closer inspection you can see where the top of Melania’s dress meets with the skirt, splitting the fabric in half. For Joyce, her dress was one piece of fabric with a bit of stitching around the waist to pull it in. Plus, Melania’s dress was Roksanda and cost her approximately $2,190. Woof!
As word began to spread that Joyce was totally trolling Melania, the Congresswoman spoke out that (unfortunately) that was just not the case. “Now it’s blowing up all over the nation that it’s the same as Mrs. Trump’s, but I don’t know,” Joyce told nbc4i.com in an interview. Ah, bummer! That would have been a pretty hilarious troll, no?
