Uh oh! Things are getting pretty heated between comedienne and former 2012 presidential candidate Roseanne Barr, 63, and funny man Louis C.K., 48, as she’s continuing on her crusade to out him as a dangerous misogynist who has preyed on female comediennes over the years. The former TV star opened up about the toxic environment women have when it comes to working in comedy. “It’s not just Bill Cosby,” she told The Daily Beast. “Some of the biggest comics, males, are doing some terrible things. And they’re about to get busted,” and she wasn’t afraid to name names and went after a very familiar target.
“I’ve been speaking up,” she said. “It’s Louis C.K., locking the door and masturbating in front of women comics and writers. I can’t tell you — I’ve heard so many stories. Not just him, but a lot of them. And it’s just par for the course. It’s just s**t women have to put up with.” Yikes! The site reached out to Louis C.K.’s rep who didn’t respond with a comment on the strong accusation.
Roseanne doubled down in a follow-up e-mail to the site after the interview, “These allegations [against Louis C.K.] have been leveled and talked about for years. I do not have first hand knowledge, though have heard women make these allegations.” She still didn’t elaborate on how he was going to get “busted” though.
The comedienne has been on Louis’s case for a while now. In July 2015 she tweeted “I have n0 idea if Louie #CK is a sexual offender or not-but there R MULTIPLE accusations in Hollywood’s working woman circles. He shld answer,” but so far he’s stayed away from the topic and hasn’t taken her bait.
