Apparently Zayn Malik has had an extraterrestrial experience! While the 23-year-old singer was contemplating leaving his former band, One Direction, Zayn had an encounter with an alien (yes, you read that right) that helped convince him exiting the group was the right thing to do. So how exactly did this happen?
“An alien spoke to me in a dream,” Zayn told Glamour. Surely there’s a story behind that, right? Well, even if there is, we aren’t going to be hearing it — because Zayn just left it at that. Right…
So since we don’t know any further details about Zayn’s supposed “alien encounter,” it’s unclear what the dream alien told him. But whatever was said, it clearly convinced Zayn to give 1D the axe!
In the 16 months since Zayn left One Direction in March 2015, he has provided plenty of reasons for his decision to exit (that were a bit harsh toward his former bandmates): He was never treated like an artist, their music wasn’t cool, and he didn’t feel like he got to show his true self. Zayn’s latest story involving an alien may seem a bit surprising at first, but hey, it’s better than another diss, right?
Zayn also recently admitted in June that he’s been battling anxiety for quite some time, which caused him to cancel a solo performance at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in London. Perhaps the “alien” in Zayn’s dream was caused by his anxiety? No matter what brought an alien into Zayn’s dream, we just hope Zayn doesn’t regret listening to what the dream alien told him!
