So, are they friends now? Kanye West, 39, has a pretty sorted history when it comes to his ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, 32. However, it sure seems like the two former lovers have finally put the past where it belongs — in the past — once and for all. The audience camera at the 2016 VMAs on Sunday, August 28, caught Amber and Kanye sharing a laugh as they chatted one-on-one during the show!
It’s unclear if this little chat went down before or after Kanye took the stage and gave her a shout out by yelling, “I see you, Amber” during his impromptu speech. However, even when he did that Amber didn’t seem to mind as she smiled and shrugged like it wasn’t a big deal.
For those of you unfamiliar with all of the drama between Kanye and Amber, they’ve spent a lot of time feuding on and off by dissing each other in interviews and on social media. Their most memorable fight had to be when Amber tweeted Kanye in Jan. 2016, asking him if he was “mad” because she wasn’t around to “play” with his “a–hole” — and she even hashtagged it “#FingersInTheBootyAssB****.”
No matter what went down between Kanye and Amber during their little VMAs chat, we are glad to see that they are finally getting along again. Let’s hope they can keep it that way this time!
