Chad Johnson Fights To Be The Next ‘Bachelor’: ‘I Think I Deserve Love’

He’s baaaa-aaack. Chad Johnson couldn’t miss a chance to show his face one last time — and that’s what he did on the ‘After the Final Rose’ after show on August 1, following the finale of ‘The Bachelorette.’ So, who’d he start a fight with this time around?

Well, it may surprise you, but the answer is… no one! He tweeted before the show: “At Tulsa Airport heading to LA for #AfterTheFinalRose. I’ve done my research, I got my sources, I got dirt on everyone 😎 #TheBachelorette.”

But instead, he just begged to the be the next Bachelor. Yes, really. Chris Harrison brought up the Chase V. Luke discussion to JoJo and he stood up and interrupted, explaining he’s had a rough year and he knows he may look like a villain but he deserves love too. Chris told him to wait and see how Paradise turns out… since we all know he gets in a fight and gets sent home.

“I made some mistakes, but I’ve been through a lot this last year,” he said, bringing up the death of his mom and the fact that he was in the Marines. “I think that a lot of people deserve love. I think that I, as well as other people, deserve love. So I think maybe I deserve to be the next bachelor.”

We’re actually surprised that Chad didn’t return to start trouble with Robby and Jordan. When he came to Men Tell All, he had to stay in a separate trailer from the rest of the guys, and took his opportunity to throw shots at them all — including Robby and Jordan, who weren’t there to defend themselves.

“We both know that Jordan is a liar, cheater whose own older brother won’t even talk to him,” he said to JoJo on the special last week, adding that it’s pretty clear Robby dumped his girlfriend (who he’s now seeing casually) to come on the show. JoJo gave him the cold shoulder then, saying it wasn’t worth her breath to respond.

So, were you surprised to see him back on After the Final Rose?
