If Donald Trump, 70, isn’t fighting with someone, is he even awake? This latest series of barbs between Trump and Joe Scarborough, 53, the host of Morning Joe on NBC, proves that the former’s schoolyard antics are alive and well. “Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable! @morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!” Trump tweeted, referring to Scarborough’s co-anchor Mika Brzezinski, 49. Pot calling the kettle black, much?
Ugh. Scarborough did get the last word, though: “@HillaryClinton is targeting key swing states today while Trump starts his day obsessed with cable news hosts while channeling Gawker. SAD!” We agree with him there.
Scarborough also wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post on Aug. 9 titled “The GOP must dump Trump”. “We are in uncharted waters but that does not mean that the way forward is not clear,” he wrote. “The Republican Party needs to start examining quickly their options for removing the Republican nominee.” Well, that might explain why Trump decided to act out today.
