OMG, as if there wasn’t enough love between Drake, 29, and Rihanna, 28, Drizzy just took things totally next level! He put up a giant billboard in L.A. to celebrate RiRi’s getting the prestigious Vanguard Award at the VMAs ceremony on Aug. 28.
The black billboard has fancy white writing that reads “Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at OVO,” with the label’s cute little owl symbol in the lower right corner. But he’s not fooling us with including all his OVO pals as being part of the massive celebration of Rihanna’s achievement, he’s totally gushing over his lady in the most public and dramatic way possible!
That wasn’t lost on RiRi, who posted a pic of the billboard to her Instagram with the caption, “When he extra ❤🏆!!!” She’s clearly so happy with Drake putting up a giant sign in her honor and knows it’s coming from a total place of love! Drizzy definitely scored major points with his lady for this, and her reaction is SO CUTE!
Now we have to wonder if he’ll be in the audience as she accepts the big honor at the VMAs, and how adorable would it be if MTV had Drake be the one to give her the big intro and present it to her?! RiRi will be bringing down the house with a live performance that the executive producer of the show says “It’s going to be one of those holy crap VMA moments. She’s not playing. She’s bringing it.” OMG, we can’t wait!!!
