“If you’ve got love for Rihanna in New York City I wanna hear you make some noise,” Drake tells the sold-out NYC crowd. “Cuz you know I’ve got love for Rihanna.”
While Drake’s Rihanna talk wasn’t super out of context (his love spiel occurred in between singing their Views collaborations “Work” and “Too Good,” as you can see in the video above), it’s clear that the 29-year-old rapper has no problem telling the world how he feels about her. Except let’s be honest, it’s nothing we haven’t heard from Drake before!
Just five days before sharing his “love” for RiRi, Drake actually brought Rihanna, 28, out on stage and didn’t just spill his feelings about her — Drizzy insinuated that he wants her babies! “We might have to go half on a baby!” Drake said as Rihanna stood right next to him after they performed “Too Good” live together for the first time. She didn’t turn down the idea, either, so Rihanna may be feeling the same way about Drake…she’s just not as vocal about it!
Drake and Rihanna have been teasing fans that they’re into each other for years, as they’ve featured each other on several tracks and have partied into the late hours of the night on several occasions. They’ve been rumored to be dating time and time again, with sources saying that the two are officially an item once again just last month.
Considering how many times Rihanna and Drake have fueled dating rumors, though, we’re almost getting to a “boy who cried wolf” point with these two. But at the same time, we’re holding on to the hope that Drake and Rihanna will end up together one day — it’s hard to deny the chemistry between them! And frankly, it seems Drake isn’t going to be giving up on their “love” anytime soon either!
