Drake Slams Funkmaster Flex For Harsh Diss Over Eminem Feud: Quit The ‘Bullsh*t’

Forget summer sixteen — it’s the summer of sizzling feuds! Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex accused Drake of not writing his own songs and fueled the rumor that he’s got beef with Eminem, and naturally, Drizzy fired back at the radio DJ at an after-party for his tour in New York City on Aug. 4.

Drake, 29, headlined a concert at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 6, and at the party after the show, he responded to Flex‘s insinuations that the “Hotline Bling” singer uses ghostwriters by calling out the DJ directly. “[New York DJs are] keeping New York music alive,” Drake began, offering a compliment to hip-hop DJs that play his music.

Then he implied that Flex is not included in that camp: “I don’t mean going and playing the songs, like, four weeks late and sh*t, trying to sound cool…late night, prime time on the radio, seven to nine o’clock talking all that bullsh*t,” Drake told the ecstatic crowd. “Shout out to the real DJs that know about the real music. F*ck the rest of that bullsh*t,” he added. You go, Drake!

Flex responded on Twitter after Drake’s party: “Haaaaaa!! You look a little frustrated at that party Bruh @Drake,” he wrote. Not the world’s best insult. As we previously told you, if Flex continues dragging Drake, the rapper plans to turn around and release a diss track. Honestly, Flex would probably welcome that for the publicity, as he seems eager to insert himself into Drake’s peripheral.

Folks, what do you think of Drake calling out Flex at his after party? Be sure to tell us whose side are you on in this feud!
