“After long and painful considering and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband,” Huma Abedin, 40, said in a statement. “Anthony [Weiner] and I remain devoted to doing what’s best for our son, who is the light of our life. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy.”
This decision comes after an alleged photo surfaced of the former New York congressman sexting with a 40-year-old brunette woman…while his and Huma’s five-year-old son was in bed with him! In the alleged conversation, he sent a photo of himself with a visible bulge, and wrote, “Stop looking at my crotch.” The mystery woman is allegedly a Donald Trump, 70, supporter, which makes this whole thing even more disturbing since Huma is a vice chairwoman for Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Anthony and Huma married in 2010, and this is the third sexting scandal he’s been involved in since. First, he sent explicit photos of himself to another woman on Twitter, which led to him resigning from Congress. Two years later, as he was running for mayor of New York City, it was revealed that he’d sent more racy photos to another woman named Sydney Leathers, and that they’d been in contact more than a year after he stepped down from his position in congress! He lost the primary in the race for mayor that September, garnering only five percent of votes.
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old has kept quiet since this latest scandal came to light — and he even deleted his Twitter account just hours after the shocking New York Post cover revealing the news went public.
