Beliebers kicked off their week by throwing a #JustinReactivatedParty after discovering that Justin, 22, was back on the Gram after a short vacation (following the drama surrounding his relationship with Sofia Richie, 18.) It may have been two weeks but in Internet-time, it was like he had been missing for years!
When fans saw that @JustinBieber was up and running on Aug. 29, it didn’t take them long before they started making memes to express their incredible joy! “Thank you Jesus,” one spiritual Belieber wrote, while others used gifs from Beyonce, 34, RuPaul, 55, and even American Horror Story to celebrate!
“Don’t you ever thing about deactivating again!!” one fan wrote, clearly glad to see him back but still mad that he left in the first place. Justin closed the down the account after he and ex Selena Gomez, 24, got into a major fight! Sel accused Justin of choosing his “girlfriend” over his fans and Justin shot back, saying Selena constantly used him for attention while they were together. JB figured he’d just say “bye, Felicia” to the whole drama and shut it down.
Though Justin’s personal account was closed, he wasn’t totally off IG. Shortly afterward, Justin allegedly posted as his manager, Scooter Braun, writing “Maybe I will only post on this page for now.” Perhaps Scooter told Biebs to get his own account and thus, Beliebers had a reason to throw a #JustinReactivatedParty.
Though, fans might not be too thrilled that Justin’s back. As of Aug. 29, he was still following Sofia on IG, along with Gigi Hadid, 21, and Kendall Jenner, 20. Biebs wasn’t following Selena when he made his return, though it seems Justin has once again clicked ‘Follow’ on his ex. Could a #JustinFollowsSelenaParty start up soon?
