Apparently Selena Gomez, 24, has been trying to contact Justin Bieber, 22, since their feud over Instagram began the night of Aug. 14. But Justin is refusing to speak to her. “We’re told he feels like his ex won’t let go, and she’s constantly looking for ways to insert herself in his biz,” TMZ reported. Ouch. That has to hurt, especially if Selena is just trying to make amends. And, based on her recent apology, it seems like that is exactly what she’s trying to do.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the feud between the former couple began when the “Cold Water” singer threatened to make his Instagram account private if his Beliebers wouldn’t stop attacking his new relationship with 17-year-old Sofia Richie. And, SERIOUSLY, most of the Beliebers are hating on Sofia real bad.
But the “Kill Em With Kindness” singer wasn’t cool with how Justin was handling it. She commented on his post on Aug. 14, telling him not to blame the fans for the situation. She gave her ex the suggestion to stop posting pictures of him and Sofia. Justin did not like that AT ALL, shooting back with, “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.” SHOTS. FIRED.
Then things got REAL when Selena accused Justin of cheating on her on “multiple” occasions while they were together. The conflict reached it’s climax when Justin deleted his Instagram account early on the morning of Aug. 16. After that, Selena must have felt guilty, as she gave what seemed like a personal apology to Justin via Snapchat, writing, “What I said was selfish and pointless.”
But Justin hasn’t responded to that message, as far as we know. And if Selena has been trying to contact him, he is not picking up that phone. He seems to be done with this mess and done with her.
