Justin Bieber’s Instagram page is completely gone — but it took a lot of drama to get him to make this drastic move! After posting a series of photos with Sofia Richie, 17, during their trip to Japan, the Biebs warned fans he would make his IG private if they kept writing hurtful things about his close friend, and when Selena Gomez, 24, got involved, things were taken to a whole new level. He deactivated his account!
In case you haven’t been following, Sel commented on Justin’s pic with Sofia and slammed him for choosing his “girlfriend” over his fans, who, she pointed out, have supported him “before any one ever did.” The Biebs responded by calling his ex out for using him for attention when they were together, and then she upped things even more by accusing him of cheating.
Fans have been going absolutely crazy about all this on social media since the whole thing started on Aug. 14, and clearly, Justin has had enough! And, as we previously reported, it seems like the 24-year-old is also over it, as she took to Snapchat to admit, “What I wrote was selfish and pointless.”
As of now, the “Company” singer’s Twitter and Facebook accounts are still up and running.
Meanwhile, the status of his relationship with Sofia isn’t totally clear, but they seem to have been inseparable since we first saw them holding hands on Aug. 9. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this whole situation for SURE!
