Michelle Obama, 52, took to her official Instagram page August 4 to celebrate her hubby, President Barack Obama‘s 55th birthday. FLOTUS posted a rare photo to her page of the two staring into each other’s eyes as she lovingly grabs ahold of his chin. As if the photo didn’t make us melt, the caption was an instant tearjerker. “55 years young and that smile still gets me every single day. Happy birthday, Barack. I love you.”, she captioned the sweet snap.
Michelle signed the photo “-mo,” leaving a notable signal that the loving message was from her. The photo of the two is from May 2016 when Mrs. Obama and the president hosted a Nordic state dinner at the White House.
This marks President Obama’s last birthday in the White House, and we’re sure it will be one to remember. He has been busy with his duties in office still, as he has been a proud supporter of Hillary Clinton, 68. POTUS raved over Hillary as he endorsed her on Day 3 of the 2016 Democratic National Convention. He even mentioned how she is overqualified to be the next president.
“There has never been a man or a woman, not me, not Bill (Clinton), more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America,” he said when addressing the DNC for the last time as president.
The celeb-obsessed leader has been having a great last year and he’s even done an epic edition of “Slow Jam News” with Jimmy Fallon, 41, on The Tonight Show, that you need to see! Happy birthday President Obama!
