The rumor that a battle was brewin’ started on Aug. 3, when radio DJ Ebro started throwin’ around some interesting facts. “I told Drake that I heard the rumor was Eminem was going to gear up to come after him,” Ebro said on Hot 97’s morning show. “He laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen.’ He’s like, ‘He’d never do that.
And if he did, I got something for him, too.’” So, now the internet is freaking out waiting to see who will respond first — Drizzy or Slim Shady? And, if social media is any indication of who would win, the 29-year-old “Hotline Bling” singer should be very, very afraid of the the 43-year-old 8 Mile star. Why? Well, have you seen 8 Mile?
And, as excited as we are to see what we know would be an epic rap battle, we are really glad Rihanna wouldn’t take sides if it happened. RiRi is just too professional, respectful and all around amazing to want the drama.
