Even Taylor Swift, 26, can’t avoid jury duty! The “Wildest Dreams” singer flew to Nashville, TN to report to the courthouse, and naturally, her fellow jurors freaked out. Tay was a good sport, and posed for numerous selfies and signed autographs after chatting with the other citizens. Click through our gallery, attached, to see the adorable pics!
Thankfully, one juror documented the whole thing on Twitter for posterity. “So I just got picked immediately after Taylor Swift. Same jury panel,” @TracysActivism tweeted. “Jury Duty with Taylor,” she added, sharing a pic and video (above) of Tay Tay looking cute in a black top with her juror’s nametag pinned to it. “How cool is this?” Tay also signed an autograph for Tracy, writing that it was nice to meet her. Jury duty goals.
It’s a good thing Taylor got out of going to the VMAs, because it probably would have been a very awkward experience for the singer. She was shaded not once, but twice, first by Kanye West, who brought up the “Famous” fiasco once again, then by her ex Calvin Harris. The latter left her out of his acceptance speech for “This Is What You Came For”, only mentioning Rihanna. Ouch! Kanye’s diss wasn’t too shocking — we’ve been down this road before — but we expected more from Calvin!
