Angelina Jolie’s New BFFs: Were They Leading A Negative Campaign Against Brad Pitt?

Lady Arminka Helic and Chloe Dalton, two of Angelina Jolie‘s best friends may be leading a negative campaign against her estranged husband Brad Pitt, 52, that is only adding to the problems the couple have faced since she filed for divorce over a week ago. The two women closest to Angie have been “fueling the actress’ aggressive approach against Pitt” from the beginning, a source told ET. The pair are apparently so close with Angelina they were reportedly seen playing baseball with some of her children the day before the 41-year-old actress filed her surprise divorce papers against the Allied actor.

“Angelina is very close to Arminka and Chloe, and really has left her Hollywood circle in recent years to focus on politics and human rights,” the source said. “Angelina respects the two of them completely and doesn’t make any decisions without them.” That definitely makes it sound like the pair could have had a serious influence on the Tomb Raider star’s decision to split from Brad.

Arminka formerly worked as special adviser to Britain’s former Foreign Secretary William Hague, who was “really responsible for teaching Angelina about Bosnia,” the insider told ET. Then, in 2015, Arminka, Chloe and Angelina started the Jolie Pitt Dalton Helic foundation, whose focus is helping refugees, preventing violence against women and providing better access to education.

“We have been officially working together for a year and are very much looking forward to continuing our joint efforts on our shared international interests,” Jolie told People of the trio at the time. Clearly, by now she is so close with them, and respects them so much, that perhaps if they really were against Brad, she would have listened to anything they had to say.
