Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie: He Begged Her For A Second Chance & Offered To Get Help ASAP

If Brad Pitt had his way, he and Angelina Jolie would still be giving their marriage a chance. The actor was not ready to end the 14-year relationship, and even offered to get help in therapy to fix things, according to a new report. But, clearly, it was too little too late.

It was reportedly a complete blindside for Brad Pitt, 52, when Angelina Jolie, 41, filed for divorce on Sept. 19, and even though he knew there was trouble in the marriage, he was willing to get help, The Sun reports. The site claims that the actor asked his wife for another chance before she pulled the plug, and even offered to go to therapy, but obviously, his alleged pleas did not work.

Of course, if the latest allegations against Brad are true, it’s not surprising that Angie would want to get out of the marriage as fast as possible. The 52-year-old was allegedly verbally and physically abusive to his children while on a private jet Sept. 14, and is reportedly being investigated by the LAPD and Child & Family Services about the incident. However, he insists that the claims are false, according to a close source.

In her divorce papers, filed Sept. 19, Angelina did not mention anything about the shocking claims, but she did ask for sole physical custody of the pair’s six kids. After filling, she released a statement saying her decision was made for “the health of her family,” without getting specific about what she meant.

Meanwhile, separate reports claimed that Angie ended the marriage because Brad had an affair with Marion Cotillard, 40. However, the French actress took to Instagram to deny the reports and comment on the strength of her relationship with her partner, Guillaume Canet. She also confirmed that she and her longtime love are expecting their second child together.

Do you think Angie should’ve given Brad a second chance? Do you think therapy would’ve helped them?
