Royalty, 2, was said to be at Chris Brown‘s house at the time police and child services knocked on the singer’s door, according to TMZ. Sources told the news outlet that they wanted to check on the child’s well-being after Chris’ standoff with police and alleged gun incident with Baylee Curran.
It’s not certain who filed a complaint against Chris, but TMZ’s sources believe it was Royalty’s mother, Nia Guzman.
As you’ll recall, Chris allegedly pulled a gun on Baylee when she wouldn’t leave his Tarzana home on August 30. Chris was later booked for assault with a deadly weapon, however, he has not yet been charged by the D.A.
Chris was actually supposed to appear in court for an arraignment on Sept. 20, but authorities missed that deadline. Plus, they haven’t yet presented the file to the district attorney, TMZ reported. The arraignment date has now been extended by 15 days, which should give the police enough time to finish paperwork and present their case to the prosecutors.
